Some details about the Montreal area 

• Montreal has a larger downtown, 2 times bigger with 2 times more skyscrapers that are gothic influenced
• Downtown would mainly be Invictus (English speaking)/Carthian (French speaking) (to simulate the English/French constant bickering and Liberal/PQ duality)
• La Ronde is an abandoned park with a group of Nosferatus inhabiting it.
• Laval would have its subway completed and be more extensive (3 times bigger and much more far reaching), and it would be shiny new.
• Laval is ruled by the Lancea Sanctum. Possibly 40 Sanctified.
• The Terrebonne area contains a tiny Circle of the Crone group in the far west or east of the island. 10 Acolytes.
• The Carrefour Laval/Colossus/Old Centre 2000 sector (still up and abandoned) would be Laval 's downtown, with large buildings.
• Longueil , being very Chinese centric will have that feature exaggerated with a mainly Chinese Ordo Dracul.
• The Stade Olympic will also be a wreck, and it will be partially smashed down with some abandoned machinery on site( Montreal no longer has the budget to continue the destruction and no one wants to buy the real estate for the moment) [Invictus wants the tower to remain and thus blocked destruction attempts]
• Old Montreal is twice as large, with additional old looking buildings and an old slightly abandoned cruise ship in port that no longer leaves anymore. The ship is the source of rave parties and other illicit activities.
• The human population of Montreal is 3.6 millions souls (and 4.6 millions in summer time) with a larger kindred concentration than proposed in the book.
• Laval 's population is tripled to 1.1 millions with almost no variation in summer.
• The entire south shore has its population doubled to about 800k. With possibly 50% being Chinese.
• Mont-royal is devoid of buildings other than the university and the St Joseph oratory and will be filled the hiking trails. This is werewolf territory.
