The Invictus, the first estate

The might of the First Estate dominates the city. This covenant forms the eldest, the elite, and the status-quo that dictates the city. The Invictus and the Carthian currently enjoy a professional rivalry; the Invictus pushes to maintain its lead of the political structure, and the Carthian movement tries to slowly convert the city to its belief system. The Lancea Sanctum is currently aware of an informal alliance between the leaders of the Invictus and the Carthian movement and is thus highly opposed to this fact and engaged in tactics to lower the level of thrust between the two. The sanctified are succeeding in their endeavor since the Carthian movement voted for a vote of no confidence on the current elected leader which was turned down in favor of new elections. The Lancea Sanctum is now unofficially unalied to both the Carthians and the Invictus but this is informal.

As of recently, the Prince declared to some members of the montreal kindred society that he was on the verge of going unalign and rule the city as a clear and balanced center of power that would not have any of the covenents at the for front of his good graces. This way he hopes to really stabalize the Montreal kindred population and make sure that war does not erupt once more. He knows that death will be inevitable an also knows that he has to enfeeble the Ivictus in this process since they are too many and too powerfull. So currently, many of his allies are currently working inside the Invictus to learn who would be in the side of the prince.

Leading Members of both sides are officially polite with one another and, for the majority of the Neonates, it would be impossible to see hatred in casual discussions between elders.

The current members of the covenant are relatively behind their leader but they do not approve of the fact that the prince seems to be friend with the Carthian movement. This is the only thing that causes arguments here and there in the covenant.

The prince and leader of the covenant, Steven Hubbard, has been in control of the city for the last 4 years.
